What is a gas boiler heating system?
Nowadays, many homes are heated with boilers. In a home central heating system, boiler is the most important part.
The boiler burns the gas, and transferred the heat energy from the gas to the water.
Through manifold system, an electric pump pushes the hot water to flow to every room. Hot water is distributed via baseboard radiators or radiant floor system. The water flows around a closed loop inside each radiator. It enters at one side and leaves at the other side.
A thermostat mounted in one room monitors the room temperature. You can choose our Gas Boiler Thermostat series. When room temperature reach set temperature, thermostat switches the boiler off. When room temperature is lower than set temperature, it switch the boiler back on again.
How does thermostat help?
There are 3 methods to control the gas boiler heating system.
● User can control it totally manually, and you need to keep switching it on and off when you feel cold.
● Some people choose to have heating system with a electronic programmer, which can switch the boiler on automatically at certain times of day (typically, just before they get up in the morning and just before they get in from work).
● A smarter and more energy saving way is to install a Gas Boiler Thermostat to control your gas boiler. You can set a wanted room temperature, even you can divided one day into several periods, and set different temperature value for different periods. Thermostat works like a steward, and it can intelligently monitor your room temperature. When the room temperature is lower than the set temperature value, the thermostat activates and switches on an electric circuit, so as to open the wall furnace heating. When the room temperature value is higher than the set temperature value, the temperature controller will close the circuit to switch boiler off, in order to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
