Igowarm snow melting heating cable is a twin conductor constant wattage heating cable.

It is designed to provide a flexible option for melting snow and ice on driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, stairs, ramps, bridges and etc.

It is widely used in hot asphalt, concrete, under cobblestones or below slates.

The cables are popular for both the North American Markets and the European Markets.

The regular type for North America is 12W/ft. (40W/M).

The whole cable looks like a complete series resistance, so it cannot be cut at any circumstances.

This twin conductor structure allows the heating cable with a single power connection.

The maximum voltage rating is 600 Vac.

The cable can be made under the rated voltages of 120Vac, 208Vac, 240Vac, 277Vac, 347Vac, 480Vac and 600Vac.

The maximum ambient temperature is 85°F (30^oC) and the minimum installation temperature is 40°F (5^oC).

Igowarm snow melting heating cable has 6 different layers.

The inner conductor is made of tinned copper.

The conductor insulation is made of XLPE which has a characteristic of better flame retardancy.

It can also be replaced by fluoropolymer.

There is a pairing jacket over the two separate insulations.

It secures two bus wires together. The external shield is made of aluminum foil.

The aluminum foil can absorb all internal electromagnetic radiation.

There is a tinned copper wire between the insulation and aluminum foil.

The wire can be used for grounding protection.

Finally, the cable is covered with a 100% waterproof PVC.

It is the durable and simple structure that allows it to be used for more than 30 years.
